What is Hearing Loss?

Hearing loss is a sudden or gradual decline in how well someone perceives and processes sounds. It is a common condition affecting people of all ages, especially older adults. In fact, approximately one in three people between 65 to 74 years old and one in two people over 75 years old have hearing loss in the United States.
