  • Center for Early Intervention on Deafness (CEID): CEID’s mission is to maximize the communication potential of young children (0-5 years old) who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have severe speech and language delays by providing exemplary early start educational services.   • CCHAT Center: Located in Sacramento, CA, the CCHAT school is an auditory/oral school whose mission is to teach children who are deaf and hard of hearing to listen and develop spoken language.   • Listen to Me! Summer Institute: An intensive one-week training program for children, families, and professionals to learn how to foster listening and spoken language development with cochlear implants. Listen to Me! is part of the Baker Institute for Children with Hearing Loss.   • Family Audiology Counseling Education Speech (FACES): FACES, a program offered by the Hearing and Speech Center of Northern California (HSC), is a comprehensive program for families of infants and toddlers recently diagnosed with hearing loss. The program connects families to appropriate resources and helps create a plan for education, communication modality, and hearing devices.
